Government of Canada camp sites - http://tasks.osmcanada.ca/project/165
When saving your work, please leave the default comment but add what you actually mapped, for example "added buildings and a residential road".

  • Pick a task
  • Load data
  • Open task in JOSM
  • Conflate camp sites if needed, merge layers
  • If you are working with a cluster of individual tourism=camp_pitch nodes that are clearly part of a campground, check if there is a campground already mapped around them. If not - add an area with tourism=camp_site tag. Refer to wiki. Add nameand capacity tag - you can find it in the "Per Task Instructions" section.
  • If you are looking at random backcountry camp site(s) that are not part of a campground - import them as a node with tourism=camp_site tag.
