Open the task in JOSM, locate where pedestrian crossover is (usually in the center of the circle). Make sure crossing way is mapped.

Paste the following tags into the node where pedestrian crossing intersects with the road.

crossing=uncontrolled crossing_ref=pxo flashing_lights=button highway=crossing segregated=no source="City of Ottawa"

Usually pedestrian crossovers have flashing lights operated by a button. If you are sure there are no flashing lights change flashing_lights tag to no. Refer to mapillary for if needed.
